Brand History
Launched in 1965 in the selective channel, Brut was the first brand in France to offer an Aromatique-Fougère fragrance. This fragrance, Brut Original, brought success and notoriety to the brand, which decided in 1977 to offer its fragrances in supermarkets for the general public. In 1989, Unilever acquired the brand.
