Product Description
Company Roquefort PDO is made with raw sheep's milk collected from local farms in Aveyron and 5 neighbouring departments. The ewes are raised in the wild (as soon as the weather permits) and fed without GMOs (<0.9%), mainly grass, forage and cereals from the farm. The milk collected is then delivered to our 2 cheese dairies in Aveyron. The Roquefort is then matured in our natural cellars, built into the cliffs of the village of Roquefort-sur-Soulzon in Aveyron (in accordance with the regulations). Our cellars can be visited all year round.
Ingredients
Raw ewe's milk, salt, lactic and maturing ferments, rennet, Penicilium Roqueforti.
