Our story: When Sir Thomas Lipton founded his company in the late 19th century, he bought his first tea plantation in Ceylon, Sri Lanka. More than 100 years later, Lipton® has thousands of hectares of quality tea bushes in East Africa. Built on over a century of experience in tea growing and blending, Lipton® has retained Sir Thomas' love of innovation and excellence. Lipton® is built on strong values inspired by its founder Sir Thomas Lipton: naturalness, optimism and dynamism. A modern brand that is far removed from the traditional codes of tea-time, Lipton® has based its success on the development of a "tasting experience" during which consumption can give rise to moments of shared pleasure, discovery and conviviality. More than a hundred years of success and innovation have enabled Lipton® to bring more pleasure from tea to more people around the world. In this spirit of inventiveness, research and discovery, Lipton® helps people discover the benefits of brewed tea, black or green. In all, Lipton® has nearly 80 tea and infusion references in France.
